Cheap Flat Irons

By Marissa Donato

Is it possible to purchase a cheap flat iron? The saying "You get what you pay for" should come to mind when contemplating the purchase a flat iron. Should you decide to buy a cheap flat iron, than you could be setting your hair up for heat damage, hair breakage and color loss. You spend so much money on haircuts, hair coloring and hair products; why take the risk with a low quality flat iron just it seems like such a bargain for $30.00?

If you are like most customers, then you probably do not want to put a huge dent in your wallet when purchasing your next flat iron. Putting a couple of hundreds of dollars down on a flat iron can seem unnerving. At the same time, the answer to the problem isn't to buy a discount drugstore flat iron. Purchasing a flat iron doesn't have to be a scary|unnerving experience.

It is promising to know that you can purchase a good flat iron for under $100.00. I don't think it's ignorant to assume that spending $100.00 is unrealistic. It is very realistic. If this is your first flat iron purchase than perhaps you expected to be able to buy a flat iron for only $30.00. Let's just get over that hump. It's not going to happen. If you care about avoiding heat damage to your hair then you will gladly accept and expect to pay anywhere from $80.00-$100.00 on a quality flat iron.

BaByliss has a flat iron called the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Ultra thin, that is top notch. Seriously, should you consider buying a hundred dollar flat iron then you should place this iron at the top of your list for irons to consider. It is slim and sleek in design, has adjustable temperature settings and flash heating. It can also style your hair with curls, flips and added volume. One of the best things about purchasing this flat iron is the decent manufacturer warranty. It has a 4 year warranty which is pretty darn good.

Solia has several flat iron models that all sell for under $100.00. In fact, you can purchase several of their models at about the $80.00-$90.00 range. Solia has a great reputation for making long lasting flat irons that pack big punch. You can achieve smooth and silky hair results easily with one. Solia designs their flat irons to distribute heat evenly on tourmaline plates which eliminates hot spots that can damage your hair otherwise. Many consumers swear by their Solia and refuse to use another after receiving such amazing results.

FHI is another top rated brand that designs wonderful hair straighteners. Celebrity stylist love the FHI irons because they heat up quickly and deliver super straight results efficiently. FHI is definitely a winner over some comparable flat irons such as the CHI original ceramic flat iron. It is comparable to the CHI original because neither of the flat irons offer custom temperature control and both irons have rectangular plates which do not allow ease of curling or flipping styling. if you are just looking for an iron that heats up fast, gives sleek and smooth straight results, than you will love FHI flat irons. - 17943
