Rid yourself of Wrinkles

Who does not want to look younger? Wrinkles on the skin always prevent a person from looking younger. Wrinkles tell us that old age has set in. Taking into consideration the fact that the human body requires the optimum amount of nutrients, it is obvious that a lack of these nutrients or vitamins result in aging of skin and formation of wrinkles.

A well balanced and nutritive diet results in well balanced skin. A wrinkle is a specific crease of skin of the face, caused as a result of old age and lack or essential nutrients. Wrinkles hang loose, thus marring the aesthetics of the skin.

Today, people don't have enough time for themselves, thus they are unable to pay proper attention towards their skin or their body. A young person has more fat cells as compared to an old person. As a person ages, the number of fat cells in the skin decrease, the skin however continues to grow and sags, thus forming wrinkles.

As a person grows older, the skin gets thinner. Moreover, the worries of life and the physical exertion that one goes through take its toll on the skin. Creases begin to appear and the skin no longer remains flexible. The cheekbones show through the thinning skin.

The everyday actions including eating and chewing, subject the skin to a lot of stretching and pulling, making the aging skin succumb to these pressures, resulting in wrinkles. A practical daily schedule in combination with meditation and the right diet optimizes skin texture, thereby reducing or delaying wrinkles.

Various creams and lotions are available to help curb the aging process. Sunscreen is commonly used to reduce aging of the skin and thus helps in prevention of wrinkles. Cleansers are available to keep the skin clean and reduce any type of irritations on the skin. Moisturizers are available to help you get rid of any unevenness in the skin and also help in firming up the skin. AHAs (fruit acids or Alpha Hydroxyl) help keep the skin in shape and give a shine to the face. Facial exercises are quite beneficial to help curb the formation of wrinkles.

According to scientific research, our cell refresh rate decreases as we grow older. This means that the rate at which our cells renew themselves, reduces with age. Due to this slowing renewal rate, the skin becomes dull, dry and uneven. It holds less water and therefore gets dehydrated and develops wrinkles.

One wishes that he could stop this deterioration of the skin, but the natural process of aging and wrinkling cannot be stopped. Yes, much respite has been seen by those who have resorted to the various formulations created by medical science. Products containing DNA and RNA ingredients have proved to ease off wrinkles. Natural proteins like collagen and elastin that give support and flexibility to the skin have found their way into the containers of many beauty creams.
